The HEInnovate action cards provide relevant and actionable recommendations for short-, medium- and long-term implementation along the dimensions of HEInnovate. At the REvaluation Conference 2024 the challenges and opportunities presented by the rapidly changing landscape of research and innovation policy and its implications for assessment and evaluation will be explored.
Traditionally set in the city of Vienna, Austria, from December 4-6, 2024, this conference promises to be a gathering of thought leaders, academics, and practitioners who are charting the course through these dynamic times.

The next HEInnovate webinar will take place on Thursday, the 1st February at 5pm CET and will discuss the role of HEIs in place-based transformative innovation. The webinar will benefit from contributions of five speakers:

  • Karel Haegeman, who has been working as scientific officer at the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre
  • Ellen Hazelkorn  who is Joint Managing Partner, BH Associates education consultants
  • Henning Kroll, Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI in Karlsruhe
  • Alessio Cavicchi (MSc, PhD), is Full Professor of Agribusiness, Rural Development and Branding at the Department of Agriculture, Food and Environment of the University of Pisa
  • John Edwards is Secretary General of EURASHE, the European Association of Applied Higher Education Institutions.

Unter Mitwirkung des WPZ hat die aws im vergangenen Jahr das Mehrjahresprogramm 2024-2026 erarbeitet und nun veröffentlicht.

Die aws nimmt sowohl vor dem Hintergrund internationaler Entwicklungen als auch nationaler Strategien in der Wirtschafts- und FTI-Politik eine zentrale Rolle in Österreich bei der Unterstützung der Unternehmensentwicklung durch Fördermaßnahmen und Finanzierungen ein. Darüber hinaus ist die aws bestrebt, mit ihren Programmen und Instrumenten einen Beitrag zur Twin Transition zu leisten. Im Rahmen des Mehrjahresprogrammes legt die aws ihre strategische Ausrichtung für die kommenden Jahre fest, dabei geht es auch um die Identifikation von neuen Themen.
